North Ayrshire Shooting Ground - Dalry

North Ayrshire Shooting Ground, located near Dalry in Ayrshire, Scotland, is a premier all-weather shooting venue specializing in clay target disciplines such as DTL, ABT, Olympic Trap, National Skeet, Olympic Skeet, Sporting, Compact Sporting, and FITASC. Established over 30 years ago as a family-run business, it has become Scotland’s leading shooting ground, hosting national and international competitions alongside serving local clubs and individual enthusiasts. The facility features six undercover DTL layouts, four undercover ABT layouts, two National Skeet ranges (one doubling as Olympic Skeet), one Olympic Skeet layout, a 14-stand sporting layout, and an undercover 8-trap Compact Sporting layout. Scotland’s first fully automatic covered Olympic Trap layout is also on site, regularly used for training and competitions including the Commonwealth Games. The shooting ground operates on the ClayMate trap release system and offers floodlighting for evening sessions during darker months. North Ayrshire Shooting Ground also houses one of Scotland’s largest retail shops for shooting supplies, offering a wide range of shotguns, rifles, ammunition, scopes, binoculars, reloading equipment, clothing, and accessories. Experienced instructors provide lessons and coaching tailored to all skill levels, from beginners to advanced shooters. Open Fridays through Sundays from 9:30 AM to 5 PM, the venue is wheelchair accessible and welcomes visitors for both recreational and competitive shooting experiences.
