BCM-Bravo Company MFG, Inc. began in 2003 in the garage of Paul Buffoni, a veteran U.S. Marine, in Hartland, Wisconsin. Motivated by the lack of reliable, mil-spec weapon components available to private security professionals and military personnel in post-9/11 conflict zones, Buffoni set out to build a company that would never compromise on quality or reliability. What started as a small retail and reselling operation quickly evolved into full-scale manufacturing, with BCM producing its own barrels, upper receivers, and eventually complete rifles by 2005–2006. The company’s ethos, 'No shortcuts, no substitutions, no half measures,' became the foundation of its culture and product development.
